Industrial Aerial Solutions provides drone LiDAR, photogrammetry and thermal imaging across the Fraser Valley Regional District, including Chilliwack, Mission, Agassiz, Harrison Hot Springs, Kent and Hope. The company is based in Abbotsford at the western end of the valley, so the entire region is within routine driving range for a same day or next day flight. Typical valley work covers dike and drainage terrain modelling, agricultural mapping, aggregate volumetrics, forestry road and cutblock survey, and inspection of the highway and rail corridors that run east to west through the valley.

The Fraser Valley is not one landscape. It runs from flat, diked, intensively farmed floodplain at Chilliwack and Agassiz, up through bench land and gravel terraces at Mission, into steep forested slope and canyon at Hope. A single aerial data approach does not fit all of it.
That matters most for terrain data. On the flat farmland, photogrammetry is fast and cheap and completely sufficient. On the forested slopes above Mission, Chilliwack Lake Road or the Hope corridor, photogrammetry cannot see the ground at all and LiDAR is the only aerial method that produces a real bare earth model under canopy.
IAS carries both. The DJI Matrice 350 RTK flies the Zenmuse L2 LiDAR sensor when canopy or accuracy demands it, and high resolution photogrammetry when it does not, so the method is chosen for the site rather than for whatever hardware the operator happens to own.

Diking & Flood Protection
Valley diking districts manage hundreds of kilometres of dike. LiDAR captures crest elevation continuously along the full length in a fraction of the time a ground crew takes, producing profiles that show exactly where freeboard is short before the freshet arrives.
Agriculture
Corn, forage, blueberry and dairy operations from Chilliwack to Agassiz. Orthomosaics for field records and NDVI or multispectral passes for in season vigour and drainage problems that are invisible from the truck.
Forestry
Bare earth terrain models under second growth canopy for road layout, grade design and harvest planning. Canopy height models for inventory. Corridor capture along resource roads for maintenance and deactivation planning.
Aggregates & Quarries
The valley's pits and quarries need month over month volumes that hold up in an audit. Repeat flights over the same control produce comparable point clouds and a clean cut and fill record of material moved.

Industrial Aerial Solutions operates from Abbotsford, British Columbia and mobilizes to Fraser Valley for scheduled project work. Travel and mobilization are quoted transparently as part of the project, not hidden in the day rate. For jobs outside the Lower Mainland the quote states the mobilization cost as a separate line.
Aerial photography and video runs $250 to $1,200 per shoot. Everything else is quoted per project, on area, required accuracy, terrain, canopy, travel and deliverable list. NDVI mapping, LiDAR, photogrammetry and thermal inspection are each scoped individually, and municipal and government work is normally contract based.
Yes. Industrial Aerial Solutions holds a Transport Canada Advanced RPAS certificate, the higher of Canada's two certificate levels, and is qualified for controlled and restricted airspace operations including obtaining Special Flight Operations Certificates where a site requires one.
No. IAS supplies centimetre level geospatial data products for decision support. IAS is not a licensed BC Land Surveyor and does not perform legal surveys or boundary determinations. The two work together: IAS collects dense aerial data quickly over large areas, and your surveyor or engineer reviews, marks up and certifies it.
